In a perfectly meta twist worthy of the Blues Brothers film itself, several members of The Fabulous Booze Brothers have launched a side project. But unlike the movie—where the spinoff band is mild and forgettable—this one kicks the doors wide open.

Fronted by Malley (last name withheld*) and a crew of lovable, ragtag misfits, this act unleashes a wild fusion of rock, rhythm & blues, soul, ska, and funk. It’s the kind of spectacle you’d expect to stumble upon in Las Vegas, yet it exists only in Pittsburgh.

 

Much like that America’s Got Talent performer who seems destined for disaster before blowing the judges away, this band will surprise you—in the best possible way—again and again. Song after song, they defy expectations, bulldoze mediocrity, and deliver a shockingly high‑caliber show that leaves audiences grinning, cheering, and wondering what on earth just happened.
